Thinking about Baptism? Come and make a response to God's love - a desire and a commitment to respond to God's call to follow the example of Jesus Christ.

Bring your children along to St John's and enquire about a Baptism occasion for them and your family.

You may have been going to church for a while and want to make a more definite commitment in terms of your Christian faith - then let us know that you'd like to be Confirmed.

Do you need to arrange a funeral?

Please contact your preferred Undertaker. They will then contact us at Barlaston Church to make the necessary arrangements.

Do you want to arrange a burial?

Please contact your chosen Undertaker first of all, who will then speak to us at the Church.

To be buried in the churchyard of St John the Baptist, Barlaston, you must either live in the parish, or die in the parish, or be on the electoral roll of that church, or have a partner already buried there.

At our AGM on Wednesday 1st May 2019, after much discussion about the future, sadly it was felt that this long standing Church group, had reached the end of it's time.  A vote was held and it was unanimously agreed to close the meetings.

This friendly group meets between 2.00pm and 3.30pm on the second Wednesday of the month. The meeting includes a short interesting talk/demonstration by a guest speaker, a cup of tea or coffee, delicious homemade cakes and lots of sociable chat.  We have a suggested donation of £1.
Everyone welcome, come along and try us out.

The Parish Church of St John the Baptist has a choir which helps to lead the worship of two 4.00pm Sunday services each month, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 4.00pm.

New members are always welcome to come along and join. No experience is necessary, just provided you are able to pitch a note which is played for you and you are keen and willing to have fun!
